These days, many schools and businesses are fitted with glass cabinets to show off trophies and artwork or to display awards and latest products. To ensure that these cabinets are presenting your wares in the best possible light, however, it is important that you regularly give them a clean to keep the shelves dust free and the glass sparkling.
Generally, the inside of your cabinets will only need to be cleaned out once or twice a year, but the outside should be cleaned on almost a weekly basis to ensure that the glass is always looking its best. Some people like to clean their cupboard whenever they swap over its contents.
To clean the inside of your glass cabinets, all you will need to do is run the nozzle attachment of your vacuum cleaner around every surface or give the whole inside a good dust. If there have been any spills or bug infestations, you will need to give the shelves a good scrub with warm soapy water and a sponge. For sticky stains, let the soapy solution soak for a few minutes and wipe clean.
To clean the outside of your glass cabinet, all you will need to do is wipe over all visible surfaces with a clean cloth that has been dipped into warm soapy water and wrung out. This will prevent the cloth from leaving water streaks on the cabinet. To return the shine to the glass, you will need to spray an appropriate cleaner onto the offending surface and give it a good wipe with a clean cloth.
