Whiteboards R Us we specialise in fabricating custom made products, fit for purpose in all respects. We have the ability to fabricate to a specific size, with the use of our Laser cutting machines we have the ability to provide millimeter perfect sizing.
We also have the ability to join boards in order to achieve larger sizes, than the limitation of the Whiteboard sheet width.
Whiteboards R Us can also Laser Engrave or Etch onto whiteboards for a truly custom and permanent design of your choosing.
For colour images/text we put Digital prints over the top of the Whiteboard face.
Digital print
This process achieves a full colour print, and the design is printed onto white vinyl sheet, a laminate of dry erase film is applied over the top of the digital print, and this is then laminated to the whiteboard surface. The dry erase film turns the digital print back to a surface where whiteboard markers can be used and erased, but the surface has similar properties to that of the standard acrylic writing surface, so care must be taken when cleaning this surface.
Being aware of costs we often laminate the digital print onto the acrylic whiteboard surface, as it is cheaper.
Laser Engraving / Etching
This process can only be done on the vitreous enamel surface, and can only be one colour (black).
The image would be etched into the surface. Text and logos can be reproduced as an outline or solid lettering. The thickness of the lines can be as thin as 0.40mm
As this process involves etching into the whiteboard surface, once the image is etched, it cannot be removed.
